To me, Jennifer Lawrence = Lackluster. She is such a venerated celebrity nowadays, and it makes me scratch my head about how basic our society has become. I think the main push for me to write this is that Jennifer Lawrence can't do a regional dialect (which annoys the crap out of me!) I recently saw Mockingjay, and it wasn't bad, but in movies like American Hustle, she utterly failed at successfully pulling off a New York/ New Jersey accent. In interviews, she seems so drab (lackluster) . I was listening to an interview on NPR and she said she was scouted by a modeling agency in New York at the beginning of her career. She is no doubt beautiful. I suppose that this is just a case of our society/media valuing beauty over talent. I've seen Jessica Biel in person and she is absolutely stunning as well. I think that these two young ladies have that factor in common. I guess it's not their fault that someone encouraged them to become actors, but it aggravates me everyone gives them praise for their acting, when I think they're very mediocre. It makes me sad to think that this is what life is about.
